Day 170 of Firsts: Feed the Stingrays

Did you know Stingrays have no teeth?  Did you know the stingers on a stingray grow like fingernails?  Just some of the cool things I learned today as I stepped into the new Stingray Beach Club at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey.

I had the priviledge of walking right  into the pool to feed the stingrays.  (They clipped their stingers.  At least that's what they told me. )  You have to shuffle so you don't step on a stingray.  Here's the video.



They feel like velvet, very soft when they bump up next to you.  
I never knew stingrays are cute.
