Day 197 of Firsts: Work at Rita's Water Ice

Lisa Feldman celebrated one year of survivorship this week.  A year ago yesterday she was told she had breast cancer. As a fellow survivor, she invited me to her Rita's Water Ice in Perkasie, Pa. for a First. 

I went to work and learned how to make gelato water ice's and put a "dome" on top.  The folks in Perkasie were very patient with me as I tried to fill their orders.



So happy I was with Lisa to celebrate her First.  We both know it's not enough to just survive....it's about living...really living!

$500. dollars was raised tonight to go  to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
