Day 263 of Firsts:Eat at an Ethiopian Restaurant

Tell me what you eat, I'll tell you who you are.  ~Anthelme Brillat-Savarin

I was warned. Ethiopian food is different.  It is. Wonderfully so.

First of all, you don't use any utensils.  You eat with your hands.  Love it.

You use this kind of spongy flat bread to soak and pick everything up.  Love it.

I can't tell you exactly what I ate at the Ethio Cafe & Restaurant in Philly. There was some chicken thing, some really spicy thing, some egg, a meat thing and a salad thing.  The entire thing was a great first and a good eating adventure.
