Day 271 of Firsts: Light the Pool with Candles

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened.  Happiness never decreases by being shared.  ~Buddha

I always wanted to do this: Fill the pool with floating candles.  I hate when summer ends.  I hate closing the pool which we have to do this week because the leaves are falling into it.

Anyway, I thought I would mark the end of summer with a beautiful display of floating candles. 

 NOT!  Nope.  This was a first that just didn't work and you'll see why.



On top of everything I now have to fish those candles out of the pool.  It seemed like a good idea. Back to the drawing board.
