Day 298 of Firsts: Paintball

War! that mad game the world so loves to play. ~Jonathan Swift

I've always wanted to try paintball and I couldn't think of a better group to try it with than the fearless women of Kathie's Krusaders (named after Jenna Steven's mom.)  We did the 10k mudrun together for MS.  None of us had ever tried paintball until today.

I think we were all a little stunned by how much the paintball guns look like...well real guns.  And when you get hit?? ouch!!!

The guys who play it in camouflage look like they are having a blast in something that looks like a game of war.

On Target Paintball in Pemberton, NJ helped us ease in to a game in what I'd describe as the "tot lot".  They say there aren't that many groups of women that play but they really encouraged us to just get out there and give it a shot...(ha..a shot...funny.)

So we took aim at each other: Jenna, Patti Ann Finch, Rebbecca Todd. Jenna's brother Ray and then friend Chris joined us later.  Rubin was our referree and Colleen Stevens (who didn't play because she's pregnant...yeah!) shot video on the sidelines.
