Day 342 of Firsts: Wrap Toys for Kids in Need

This was absolutely one of my best firsts. I had no idea what was going to happen when I volunteered to wrap gifts for the Children's Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia.

CCTC counsels and treats children who've been through life changing trauma and crisis.  If not for the CCTC most of the 12-hundred children they serve would have no Christmas at all.

I was elated to walk into something that looked like Santa's workshop in the basement of CCTC.  Each of us wrapped toys specially picked for children in the program.
