Day 320 of Firsts: Drive a Zamboni

Fran Mycek at the Philadelphia Skating Club in Ardmore didn't hesitate a second. "Sure you can drive the zamboni!"

I expected a little resistance. I have absolutely no experience in zamboni driving. But Fran assured me he's trained plenty of people to clean the ice with this monster machine. And besides...it does go VERY SLOW..unless you're zipping around the rink at 10mph like Fran does.

It is more complicated than driving a car. Fran set all the widgets and gadgets. All I did was put on the gas and steer. Cool!

Oh....but I did it in high heels. Well! I didn't have any other shoes with me.
