Day 321 of Firsts: Pas De Deux Pa. Ballet

On with the dance! let joy be unconfined;
No sleep till morn, when Youth and Pleasure meet
To chase the glowing hours with flying feet.
~George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage

The Pennsylvania Ballet is busy beyond belief getting ready for The Nutcracker. ( A must see)

But hey, there's always time for a little pas de deux, right? (dancing duet, that is)

I've never danced with  guys in tights. It's lovely.

 Eric Trope (who will play chocolate, a parent and a mouse in the upcoming production) and Director of Pennsylvania Ballet II, Bill DeGregory, are so beautifully graceful.  I am a klutz next to these wonderfully talented dancers (Picture Barbara Streisand in Funny Girl with a tutu..WAAAAAA).

Anyway, here is my pas de deux lesson. Stay tuned for the lift at the end. Too fabulous!

I'm told that last move is called a Fish. Like going fishing?
